The Variety Show

A mixture of entertainment ranging from graceful siva (dance), melodious voices, exhilarating fire knife dances, vigorous slap dances, and much more. Expect the whole family to join in the dancing, singing and laughter.

Fautasi Races
9am Thursday 1st September
The longboat competition provides a glimpse of what was the means of transport for people between islands. Today, the fautasi is purely a racing boat carrying 40-50 rowers that work in unison racing towards the finish line.

Miss Samoa Pageant
7pm Saturday 3rd September
The finale of the Teuila Festival, A national event recognizing the beautiful attributes of the Samoan Tamaitai (lady), through her cultural knowledge, contribution Samoa’s wellbeing and advanced ambassadorial role.

Monday - Friday
Fresh produce, carvings, traditionally inspired and modern clothing, jewellery, handicrafts and much more. Food stalls provide aromatic mixes of samoan authentic dishes, commonly recognized barbeques, or just basic fish & chip.

Cultural Demonstrations
Monday - Friday
Experience everything from Traditional umu (samoan oven) demonstrations and food tasting to weaving, handicraft making, and wood carving. Tattooing exhibitions, painting displays and traditional games like taulafoga played with coconut shells.
